  1. What is FICA?
    FICA is a Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 introduced in 2001 to help fight money and finance related crimes similar to those of pyramid schemes and money laundering. As a licensed Financial Services Provider, we have to ensure the customer information we keep is up to date and correct, just incase.

  2. Documents you should provide (Compulsory)
    • SA National Identity (must be Certified)
    • Passport (foreign nationals, must be Certified)
    • Proof of residence (less than 3-months old, no PO Box numbers)

  3. Accepted proof of residence documents?
    • Water and lights statement
    • Property levies statement
    • Telephone or cellphone statement
    • Home loan or bank statement
    • TV license or MultiChoice statement
    • Municipal councilor’s letter (official stamped less than 1-month old)
    • Rental agreement (less than 1-year old)

  4. How to submit documents?
    • Login to our app, Menu > Settings > FICA to upload all required documents.
    • Your documents will be assessed and processed within one working day. You will then receive a confirmation email.
